‘Deck of Cards’ – 70’ Trad – Tyler Wilson / Fernwood – Private Mooring – £88,500
‘Deck of Cards’ is a fabulously high quality, high spec boat built in 2005 with steelwork by Tyler Wilson and a bespoke fitout by Fernwood. This gas free boat would make an ideal liveaboard or long term cruiser. Propulsion is provided by a Beta Marine 43 with PRM150 gearbox and manoeuvring is aided by hydraulic bow thruster. 230V electrical power is provided by a 7kw, 1500rpm Onan diesel generator in an insulated cocoon and a 2Kva pure sine wave inverter charger. A heft battery bank of 780Ah supplies the 24V cabin system. A 350W solar panel system helps to keep the batteries charged.
A large hatch at the rear almost gives the boat a semi trad feel. This leads into the aft cabin with floor over the engine and generator. This space provides cupboards for cruising equipment, outdoor clothing and also features a handbasin and full size washing machine.
This then leads into the master bedroom with electrically raised, cross double bed, floor to ceiling wardrobes and overhead cupboards. A built in T.V tucks away behind panelling.
Moving forward from the master bedroom is a good sized, walk through bathroom/wet room with laminate surrounds and featuring a large shower cubicle with hinged glass door, composting toilet, hand basin and storage cupboards.
The bathroom then leads into a 2nd bedroom/ day room/ office space. This room includes a built in sofa unit which can convert to another double berth. A built in bulkhead unit includes cupboards, shelving and a pull down desk.
The galley offers ample storage and worktop space. Cooking is via a 230V oven & grill and Halogen hob with 4 burners and overhead extractor unit. Built in fridge and dishwasher are also fitted.
At the front of the boat is an open plan saloon and dining area. For dining, this vessel features a 3 seater, corner dining space with removeable table. The saloon includes a 3 seater, built in leather settee, built in Blaupunkt stereo, T.V and Hamlet Hardy solid fuel stove. This leads out on to a good sized well deck with cratch cover offering a pleasant outdoor space.
Ceiling and cabin side lining is in ash and oak panels with cherry trim. Below the gunwhales is oak tongue and groove.
‘Deck of Cards’ had a new BSC issued in January this year. She is currently on a private mooring, please call – Click here to reveal phone number – or more information or to discuss viewing possibilities.
