Sailing BoatsClassic Sailing Boats19ft Blackwater SloopClassic Bermudan Sloop 1961Classic wooden pocket sail cruiser. Bermudan rig, 19ft Blackwater sloop. Built by Dan Webb and Feesey of Maldon in 1961. A very manageable and capable rig. She carries a short fixed bowsprit and a bumpkin. She has a shallow long fixed ballast keel with an auxiliary engine, a rebuilt Yanmar YSE 8hp diesel engine, presently needs re installation.
Vessel is out of the water, under cover requiring recommissioning.
This example has raised topsides which gives good seating headroom below and a larger clearer deck space. A fantastic little classic yacht for sailing around the muddy estuaries of the East Coast
She is generally sound, her sails, rig and spars are in good condition. Domestic comforts required.
