Steel motor ship, ex coastal cargo vessel, just under 24m LOA measurement. An incomplete conversion project having created a live aboard sailing motor vessel. She has huge potential.
Built in Norway 1910, originally as a steam ship. She was “In class” and a working commercial vessel up until 2000.
In 2005 She was motored 1800 miles, under her own power to the UK from Norway.
For a time she was used as a film support vessel, more recently she has been a liveaboard project vessel. The hold area having been converted to a liveaboard.
Accommodation offered prior to the conversion of the hold area.: Upper deck forward facing wheelhouse. Skipper cabin behind with twin bunk berths and desk. External companionway down a level to a separate galley and dining cabin. Gas cooker sink , fridge and stowage. fixed dining table with bench seating. Deck level, access door and companionway to engine room. Separate wash room forward of this with toilet and shower. From the aft deck, a 2nd cabin with 2 large coffin berths and stowage. Cabin well insulated.
Main hold area was used for a boat storage / workshop. This area has now been converted for live aboard accommodation:
Main hold accessed at aft end of hold, through a temporary hatch way, via a wooden staircase. Wooden floor laid on a concrete base. The interior ships sides and deck have been sprayed with fire proof insulation to a depth of about 1.5″inchs . This ensures no condensation and good all round insulation. The majority of ships sides have been panelled with heavy duty board. The hold is 38ft long 14ft wide with about 14ft headroom amidships. There is a multi fuel stove amidships forward and a solid fuel range aft to port.. 240 volt sockets for lighting and 24 volt lights . Port and starboard at deck level bronze opening portholes and three opening brass portholes to forward. Bilge pump in sump..

Main engine: GM 240 hp,71 series V8 Supercharged diesel with New stainless steel 5000 litres bunker capacity. Gear: Twin-disc Auxiliary engine: Rugurini diesel 2.8 KwA, new in 1996.
Electrics: New battery charger 2016, galvanic isolator 40v consumer unit. 240v mains supply to the hold , 24v lighting.
General Equipment: Main mast with crane lift (for loading the hold, deck cargo. Low pressure winch. Fenders and warps. Large main anchor on chain. Forward anchor windlass.
Navigation: Navitronics Radar JRC24nm(2001) GPS- Koden Comnav Autopilot , Navigation lights.
Safety Equipment : 4 person life raft, life rings
Tankage 5000litres capacity . New stainless steel fuel tanks and pipework installed 2017.
Water System new hot and cold water supply system has been installed.
Heating 1 x diesel fed stove. 1 in the old galley. In the hold there is a multi fuel stove and a multifuel range.…*
