Having initially began as a speculation project, the 74-metre NB66, was sold to her owner in 2018. Featuring a steel hull, aluminium superstructure, NB66 hit the water for the first time in Istanbul during a ceremony attended by the owner. As she is nearing her September 2021 delivery date, her Turkish builder and naval architects Turquoise Yachts shares some of the all-new yacht’s standout features.

Classy interior

The interior by Ken Freivokh has been styled around “classical elegance” to achieve a well-integrated layout between the decks and key internal spaces. What has been designed inside is said to maximise the continuity of the yacht’s lines as well as long sightlines. Key features include large windows, a spiral staircase in the central lobby and materials such as veneers, marbles, leathers and granites.

Six decks

The newly-launched yacht has an interior volume of 1,558 GT and six decks (four of which sit above sea level) that were penned by Rome-based designer, A.Vallicelli & C. Yacht Design. Visually, the decks are said to decrease progressively towards the aft end to create a profile with strong diagonal lines that give harmony between the superstructure shapes and the hull.

Seven staterooms

Up to 14 guests can stay on board overnight thanks to seven staterooms, including the 100 square-metre owner’s suite complete with a Jacuzzi, an office and access to a private deck. The remaining six staterooms can all be converted into private saloons, plus, her crew are housed across 12 cabins.

Plenty of toys

The beach club aft is large enough to store a 9.6-metre limousine tender and guest tender, whereas additional garage space forward stores a crew tender and multiple Jet skis. Elsewhere, a touch-and-go helipad sits forward of the upper deck, seven-metre pool, steam room, massage room and indoor/outdoor gym. NB66 can reach a top speed of 17 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots with a range of 7,000 nautical miles at 12 knots.
