Founded in 1946, the Sebago® Company was started by three New England natives and friends: Daniel J. Wellehan Sr., William Beaudoin and Joseph Cordeau.
In 1970, Sebago® released their most recognisable model to date, the iconic ‘Dockside’ boat shoe. Known for their hand sewn genuine moc construction, slip-resistant rubber sole, and non-corrosive brass eyelets.
For more than 40 years, Sebago has been hand sewing leather boat shoes with care. Each pair is touched by the hands of our finest craftspeople, many of whom have come to this tradition as a craft handed down from generation to generation. We make Docksides® the same way we have since the beginning, with consumers seeking our signature details and quality.
The Docksides are an iconic silhouette, as worn by Pharrell Williams, Steve McQueen, Paul Newman and Kate Middleton.
