1985 Hallberg-Rassy 42E
Hoops of Steel – Hull #105
The 42E is a powerful category “A” all ocean vessel.

The Hallberg-Rassy 42E was built from 1980 until 1991 totaling 252 hulls.
No other sailing yachts have won more awards for design and build quality.
Hallberg-Rassy 42E sailors include John Neal on “Mahina Tiare II” and Rollo Gebhard from Germany on “Solveig IV”.

252 HR42E hulls were launched during the boat’s 11-year production run; very few were A.Y.B. into the North American market.
Good examples are routinely found all over the world. Cruisers who value these boats are often willing to travel some distance to obtain one.
As of this writing (10/18/2019), 234 are continuing to sail the world’s oceans; the balance of which, 18 are for presently for sale.
Only Hoops of Steel and one other HR42E are being offered in North America.

This is a rare opportunity to own an iconic sailing vessel of the highest quality in great condition.
