‘Cameo of Looe’ is a beautiful example of the collaboration between the late, great, designer Reg Freeman and renowned boat-builders Curtis & Pape. The last of only 4 yachts built on this hull design, Cameo is the only one with a cutter rig and clipper bow, which gave her a greater spread of sail. Originally commissioned for training sailing instructors, she went on to circumnavigate twice in private ownership. After returning from the Med in 2013 she underwent a very extensive (and expensive) refit at Tommi Nielsen’s Yard in Gloucester Dock. Cameo is now berthed in Cardiff, Wales, ready for her next adventure. Iroko hull on oak frames. 7’6″ headroom galley/chart area. 3 cabins. Tiny tot solid fuel stove in the saloon…and much more. Wonderful seaboat & home.
