SELLING or TRADING our beloved 48 foot sailing boat called Sibilla. We would like to trade her in for a boat up to 40 foot (ie HR352). We are only selling it because we would like to sail all year and not only 2 months per year as per now, which we do, due to greek taxing. As greek residents we are taxed for when the boat is in the water! The Dromor 48 was designed by the Greek naval architect Triantafillopou
She is from 1993, we bought her 2007 and have continuously updated her. She was 6 to 8 weeks in the water and than lifted straight on dry dock the remaining of the year, each year.
We just came back from sailing the cyclade islands freshly rigged beginning of july 2019 and she proved amazingly sturdy with 8 bft and 3 small children on board. The huge water tank (500L) lets you set sails for weeks and weeks…
The game changer for me was: saltwater pump in the kitchen for cleaning the dishes, the lazy jack and the roll bar to lift the dinghy. 2 solar panels leave you worry free with LED lighting and our kitchenstove is in pristine condition (oven never used). AMPLE space: My husband uses the whole double back cabin as bricolage room.
