A beautiful Norfolk Broads, Wild’s Caribbean Norfolk Broads river cruiser, liveaboard. 40′ × 12’6″.
Eleanor K has been a home for at least 10 years since being decommissioned from Hoseasons back in the day as a hire boat on the Broads.

Built in Horning, around 1970, to last. The GRP hull is an inch thick, 1/2″ on the superstructure.

The photos are a bit dated, the sofa in the lounge is slightly different now.

There are 3, 9’×9′ rooms.
Bedroom at the back, galley kitchen, full size gas cooker and diner, the middle room, with shower/loo (Separett composting toilet), here and lounge at the front.

Multi fuel burning stove
Tons of cupboards.
The Green Canvas cover at the front is around a seated area or storage.

4Inboard 2.5 diesel injection engine
And 15 hp, 4 stroke, Taihatsu, outboard engine.
So suitable for all seasons.

250 watt solar panel and controller
1000 watt pure sine wave Sterling inverter
Eberspacher warm air heating at the rear of the boat.

Compare with other boats to a similar price and see what is available for 30k.

Bear in mind, as GRP, (fibre glass), very little maintenance is required beneath the water.
They can be get washed and anti fouled, for removal of growth that clings to the hull and sacrificial anode replacement, attached to the propeller, but it’s not imperative.

Unlike steel boats that require frequent blacking and can rust, requiring over plating, that can cost £1000s, depending on boat length and extent of damage.

As I mentioned, the hull is an inch thick, so very strong.
Continuous Cruising, in East London at the moment.

Thanks for looking.
