The marina sits just four miles south of the historic Fenland City of Ely , 10 miles north of Cambridge and is easily accessible by river, rail or road.
With panoramic views of Ely Cathedral and the surrounding Fenlands, the Fish and Duck Marina is quiet, unspoilt and away from the rush of everyday life – exactly what you need to really enjoy your boat.

When you buy a boat through us you can be sure that you’re in safe hands and our comprehensive service covers all aspects of the process. In addition to advising you on suitable boats, we offer guidance on surveys, finance, insurance, moorings, servicing and transportation. And when you have completed your purchase, we can help provide training to ensure you are comfortable in handling your new purchase.
When it comes to selling your boat, understandably you want to deal with a company that has the same degree of care and attention to it as you. We are boat owners too, so we treat our client’s boats as we do our own.
Your boat will be advertised at the marina, on several online platforms and to our database of potential buyers.
All viewings will be accompanied by one of us to ensure that your boat is treated with respect and viewed at its best.
We work on a no sale, no fee basis and charge commission on the achieved sale price at just 5% plus VAT, with a minimum commission of £500 plus VAT. We offer free sales berths for three months.
Boats offered on brokerage are sold as seen and should be clean and in good working order. We can arrange for your boat to be prepared for sale by undertaking an inspection and providing a quote to carry out any necessary work.
Once listed with us, you can choose to keep your boat clean yourself or we will keep it in sale condition for a monthly fee of £1.20 per foot.
We are happy to arrange collection of your boat from anywhere on the Great Ouse system and we can also list boats that are lying away.
