Sailing BoatsCruisersElizabethanElizabethan 23A wonderful example of the classic Peter Webster design (hull number 13). Unusual and highly sought-after in her size range, she has the looks and robust build of an offshore cruiser-racer that has been simply scaled down.
Ideal for dinghy or day sailors looking for a step up, experienced single-handers or beginners looking for a fun but forgiving first boat. Fellow Elizabethan 23s have been known to make long sea passages and have been raced in various regattas. Her pretty lines are enhanced by long overhangs, with a lifting keel that enables trailer transport and/ or tidal berthing. She’s very stable but skips along in a decent breeze – the medium height of her freeboard gives her a racy feel with good protection in the cockpit from her sprayhood.Additional recent photos available, happy to arrange video call/ tour. Currently on a pontoon mooring at Brighton Marina (contract runs to March 2021).Survey from 2018 available. This found Windswept to a structurally sound example of her design. It is clear she has previously benefitted from a detailed level of maintenance, upgrade and upkeep.Vessel type:Elizabethan 23Designer:Peter WebsterBuilder:Peter Webster Ltd.
