We are specialists with over 30 years of multihull sailing, design and build expertise – our boats are built by sailors, for sailors of all types and levels of experience, including those who prefer power to sail!

The Dazcat and Multimarine team will be on-hand to welcome and show you around our Dazcat 1295 on stand M145. Dazcat Catamarans’ performance cruiser-racer range is built by Multimarine at the Multihull Centre in Cornwall, Europe’s oldest multihull specialist boatyard.

Multimarine’s expertise is in custom boatbuilding of all types. As well as being sole builder for Dazcat, they have worked with a number of other well known designers to produce a variety of highly innovative and unique boats. As carbon composite specialists many parts are made in-house, tailor-made for each project and allowing complex structural projects. Multimarine are also considered world leaders in accessible design and build.

Our boats are rare treasures. We don’t mass produce yet we have 30 years of solid provenance behind us, proven by the loyalty of our customers and how long they keep and love their boats or come back for another.

The ‘features’ on our boats are for those who have the art of seeing the benefits in what isn’t there and understanding the power and purpose of what remains. Our vision is that everything on the boat contributes to its strength, performance and comfort (comfort of ride and living). This equates to a safe, easy to handle boat that is a pleasure to be on. Everything else is superfluous and detracts from the beauty and the qualities.

Our Dazcats’ strength and performance is proven by our numerous successes on inshore and offshore race courses, where we go to test and refine our boats as well as indulge in our love of sailing. Come and have a look for yourself. The Dazcat 1295 on show has just completed the 690 nm Rolex Fastnet Race. The weather was extreme, especially in the first 24 hours when five multihulls of the 11 retired with damage. But our 1295 finished with everything intact and a very respectable position of 4th in MOCRA Multihulls. She’s enjoying summer holidays with the family between now and the show, when the owner is kindly loaning her to us so you can come and meet this Dazcat.

Whether cruising or racing you want to know your boat is solid and will carry you safely through conditions you wouldn’t normally welcome, even when shorthanded. A boat that will do that with no squeaks or breakages and still lets you cook up a hot meal whatever the weather and sumptuous banquets when at rest. A boat that is spacious, airy and bright below decks with comfy seating, a huge galley, plenty of storage and 360 views outside the boat. A boat where all the systems are easy to access for maintenance, has no sharp corners to bump against and that considers itself part of our family so after sales service is second to none. The Multihull Centre Boatyard is also home to Powercats. The 525 model was relaunched this year and has proven immensely popular. The boatyard can haul and store boats up to 30 tonnes, undertake service work, repairs, conversions and refits.
