The center was founded in 1972 under the name Diving Center Nautico on the Playa de Meloneras and is therefore the oldest diving school in Gran Canaria. For decades, the diving school was located in the hotel grounds of the IFA Interclub Atlantic in San Agustín.Since April 2019, the installations of Nautico in Arguineguin can now be found on the former site of the diving school Dive Academie Gran Canaria. After the merger, the new name “Nautico Dive Academy” was born.In addition to our friendly office and simultaneous training room you will find our OWN POOL directly in front of the base. The spacious outdoor area offers enough space for all other installations such as drying room, WC and our washing area for cleaning and drying your equipment. Free parking for our guests who come with a rental car, located in the immediate vicinity.Our training lessons and introductory dives start in our own pool with depths up to 200cm to then DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF OUR BASE find the entrance to the sea or to drive with our diving school car and our boat to the respective dive sites.Our base is only equipped with high quality and new lending equipment from brand manufacturers such as Scubapro, Aqualung, Mares, Apeks, Cressi and XDeep. We have about 70 compressed air cylinders in sizes from 5 liters to 15 liters, with one or two outlets and made of steel and aluminum. We always make sure that all our compressed air bottles regularly go to the visual check and always have a current TÜV. Our core of the Coltri MCH-36 silent, which can be filled with 600 l / min at our filling station 7 compressed air cylinders at the same time, provides clean and fresh air.Due to our capacities diving groups are welcome.
